About Us
One of the components of a high-quality preschool is to have professionals who are well-trained and knowledgeable in the areas of Early Childhood Education. Therefore, Grandma’s House is run by highly qualified and educated professionals who are dedicated and trained to meet the learning needs of your child. They set up enriching learning experiences based on children’s interests and an educational environment that propels children to become innovative and motivated learners. We are dedicated to partnering with families in their child’s learning and growth.

Celeste Ontiveros
Teacher
My name is Celeste Ontiveros. This will be my first year teaching, and I am glad to be starting at Grandma’s House Preschool. It is where I did my classroom observations and developed my passion for working with young children. I graduated with my degree in Child Development from the College of Sequoias. I am excited to use the knowledge I learned in the classroom. I especially enjoy doing music and movement with the children and art. I believe that art is a time children can use their creativity to experiment with new ideas and materials and create something no one ever has before! I knew from a young age that I wanted to work with children and help them develop their academic skills, and I can’t wait to be a part of your child’s learning experiences here at Grandma’s House Preschool. I grew up in Tulare, California, and am proud that I can be a part of the community through teaching.
Grandma’s House is an afterschool non-profit tutoring program that provides free tutoring for at-risk students. Our teaching staff is made up of retired teachers who volunteer their time to provide academic support for children who need additional support to be successful. This program does not receive state or federal funding. It is financed by fundraisers and donations from the community. Please partner with us by donating to this wonderful program. You can help make a difference in the lives of our children.
